- When ordering items that are made from alligator skin, why does the color in the picture vary slightly from what I received?
All alligator hides are tanned in batches. If the hide is from the same batch, it will be the same color but these hides are sent all over the world so the chances of getting two hides from the same batch are rare. The color will be tan, dark brown, black etc. but will probably be a slightly darker or lighter shade.

- When I order an item that only costs four or five dollars, why is the freight more than the cost of the item?
The freight is based on the weight of the item, so anything that weighs less than a pound, UPS rounds it up to a pound. Therefore the more items you purchase, the cheaper the freight will be. We have no control over UPS policy for freight.
